Oakleyinternational now has a "Gift" site. More user friendly than the website "we bought from a seminar!". And notice how the google adsense and affiliate links are placed on the pages. We uploaded these pages on December 24th 2004. When I checked my latest visits on January 15th, I already had 20 pages that were being visited from Yahoo from the 1st and second pages of results!

We first came to the "net" after buying a website at a seminar. Please don't do that! They are expensive, take control of your life, start your own business, get rich, same sort of hype you see on the internet, type of deals.
Marketing is not as easy as some people will lead you to beleive. We have spent months searching, studying, asking questions, and racking our brains, trying to figure it all out. Not to mention the additional $100's (several times) We have spent on tutorials and such. Most were decent investments. Affiliate marketing tutorials, tools and ebooks. Some weren't. What we hate is when you buy something only to find it later offered free! That's the internet.
After all the time spent on free traffic programs, free advertising and free list services that are advertised for affiliate marketers, MLM marketers and other Internet Marketers, We finally discovered they weren't all they were cracked up to be. It takes a lot of "time". Although you do get traffic. It is not targeted. It is usually people doing the same thing you are. Generating free traffic. Not buying traffic. Another thing We learned: Never start out with pay-per-click! It's too expensive when you don't know anything about marketing. That is where We started. We received plenty of clicks. No buys. Our keywords were too "relevant". Anyway, that's another story.
The most important thing about affiliate or internet marketing is doing your homework. We have some wonderful tutorials on this site that are easy to understand and provide a wealth of information in different areas of marketing. Check them out to see if there are any that may apply to your needs. And check back often. We'll add 'em as we find 'em and prove 'em!
